The National Federation of the Blind Braille Enrichment for Literacy and Learning® Academy (NFB BELL® Academy) empowers blind and low-vision children by developing their literacy skills.
Who Should Attend?
Blind and low vision children who:
- Do not receive enough Braille and nonvisual skills instruction at school.
- Could benefit form more Braille exposure over the summer through fun, hands-on learning.
- Would enjoy connect with other blind and low vision children.
- Enjoy learning from blind role models.
- Want to gain confidence through leadership and self-advocacy skills.
Program Information
The NFB of Arizona in partnership with SAAVI Services for the Blind will offer two programs this summer in Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona, details below.
- Registration deadline is May 25, 2026.
- Lunch will be provided.
- Transportation can be arranged upon request.
