SAAVI Services for the Blind

Saavi Services for the Blind founded in 1964 in Tucson as a social outlet for the blind has grown into a statewide organization with locations in Phoenix and Tucson, specializing in premier non-visual training and providing confidence building opportunities to blind people of all ages seeking employment, academic success, or to simply live a full and rewarding life. Saavi maintains high expectations for itself and its students who shine in their ability to achieve more throughout the training process and beyond. Graduates become more than they thought possible and are poised for lifelong success.

Blindness can develop anytime, anywhere, to anyone. When it does, Saavi Services for the Blind is there. Their students gain critical confidence and non-visual skills that allow them to live fully independently, return to the work force, pursue secondary education or begin the path towards a new career.
