Peckham, a nonprofit organization, was founded in 1976 to provide job training and competitive employment opportunities for persons with disabilities. The name honors former State of Michigan Rehabilitation Services Director, Ralf A. Peckham.

Today, Peckham has grown to be one of the largest vocational community rehabilitation programs in the state of Michigan and has locations in several states including Phoenix, Arizona. They offer more than 30 different rehabilitation and human services programs from art to career planning, pre-employment screening to facility-based training, youth programs to organizational employment and residential services.

Saavi Services for the Blind founded in 1964 in Tucson as a social outlet for the blind has grown into a statewide organization with locations in Phoenix and Tucson, specializing in premier non-visual training and providing confidence building opportunities to blind people of all ages seeking employment, academic success, or to simply live a full and rewarding life. Saavi maintains high expectations for itself and its students who shine in their ability to achieve more throughout the training process and beyond. Graduates become more than they thought possible and are poised for lifelong success.

Blindness can develop anytime, anywhere, to anyone. When it does, Saavi Services for the Blind is there.
