Sharonda Goode

Sharonda was born in Detroit, Michigan, and was the only child of Franklin and Voin White. Sharonda was born blind due to optic nerve hypoplasia, and her single mother raised her with the belief that blindness was just a characteristic and that she was limitless in her potential. This nurturing environment prepared her to live a rich and fulfilling life.

Jordan Moon

  Jordan Moon is the 1st Vice President of the National Federation of the Blind of Arizona, the NFB of Arizona State convention chair and the President of the Phoenix chapter. Jordan was born on July 5, 1988  in San Bernardino California to Theresa and Nathaniel Moon. Jordan was born with a condition called Peters anomaly, or clouded corneas. This also brought a side of glaucoma with it. It was apparent immediately when he was born that Jordan’s eyes were not working correctly and his parents wanted to act swiftly to enhance his vision.
